A 24-page history of the historic 48ft 6in Oakley Mark II class lifeboat James and Catherine Macfarlane. Built in Lymington in 1967, she had an illustrious life-saving career off the coast of Cornwall, serving at Padstow and Lizard-Cadgwith. After her RNLI service, she was displayed at Land’s End for many years, before being sold in 2016 and fully restored. Based in Cornwall, the medal-winning lifeboat now cruises extensively in south-west England.
